Hey Al, How much Boost could i run?

i got an 03 with

Injen intake w/ upper intercooler piping
Invida trubo back exhuast.. catless
HKS 272 i/e cams
HKS Cam Gears (0,0)
Walbro 255
Exedy Twin Disk Clutch
your Reflash that's up to date with mods...
Everything esle stock (9.5 hotside, stock 02 housing)

EDIT: O and ARP headstuds

What boost should i run with 91 oct?

i've seen guys with similar mods on this board on Dynos running like 24psi... i would thinking 22 psi... would that be safe?

You have to find the "effective" range of the turbo, and 21-22psi is spot on. Don't know about your fuel though 91 octane. Should be the same.

I'm going to guess 19-21psi. I know you can run 22psi on 93 octane with a tune. Every car reacts a little different so you really need to wait until your tune to see for sure.

22-23 psi sounds good. the more octane the better.

i wouldnt. I dont think al would recommend 23 psi on 91 either.

Yes I was talking the "sweet spot" I just wasn't sure about doing it on 91 octane. we have 93 out here.

I'm not Al or a tuner for that matter but I wouldn't run more than 21 (peak, like max on a 4th gear pull) on a 91 octane. It doesn't matter what other people boost, 1st of all you don't know the details of thier setups, 2nd you are the one that will be writing the check for a new engine after you pull the head and see melted pistons.
