Hashfather and Tobz, I know you guys were excited and looking forwards to this, so I apologize. Let me know if you guys are going to be ok with early July or not. We will accommodate you with whatever you need.

Smokey, if you can do it in July, then remember to get the Tactrix cable and the openecu software so that you can get multiple maps created.

No worries, I understand. July 8 would work for me. I also want multiple maps. Can you send me the info I will need to get.

Hopefully Smokeys in, that should be 5 or more.

Get the $90 cable from Tactrix.com

Get the free software from openecu.org (v1.27), install it on your laptop, then start playing with it to get familiar.

When you come for the tune, bring the laptop that has the software loaded, the cable, a few gallons of race, and be sure you're gas tank is very low on pump gas. You will get tuned on pump gas first, then you will toss in the race gas and get custom tuned again at no extra charge. Al will give you these maps for you to load whenever you want without any tuning required. You can also get a stock map, valet map, and whatever else you want.

Yes. Be sure to get the Evo-specific cable. If you aren't 100% sure, then go to the EcuFlash sub-forum up above in the General Engine Management forum and follow the guide.

So do we just need one more person to get a rock solid date? If so I might know someone who would be interested.

Actually, we lost one guy who decided to just get the base flash that came with his Warrtalon package and wait to get a custom flash later in the year when he moves back to sea level. So, we need 2 more confirmed deposits...

I know that Smokey and TwStDeVo are interested, but it's all about the deposits!

I want to do it...the only problem is the $$$$$

and if I continue having problems with my Evo......I might just trade it in for a stock IX......only cause I seem to have a black cat Evo the more I upgrade the worse it gets.

If you look at Warrtalon's evo...it is fast as hell with very minimal mods and tuning.
I bet you I have spent double what he has.....and have about 60 whp less. It's just one of those things. My car was a slow one from the factory

I hope to have the money in time so we can get him back out here.

Ok I have decided to go back to stock. The flash doesn't like my car. and I am done spending money on it. This is my second flash now, and I just am beginning to think it's my car. I know it's not Al's fault. I am flashing back to stock and than maybe just a basic tune from the SAFC and I am calling it a day
