plans for North Carolina visit?
Sorry i haven't been on here in a couple days guys, but it was my 21st bday tuesday and i don't really remember much of the last couple days since monday night. But yeah i'm definitely still down for this tuning meet and just like KTT said i don't really want to send my deposit it yet till we get a 5th guy. I guess this is still the list of people that want the tuning meet...
1. 06MREVo
2. E VOL IX
3. E VOL IX - STI
4. KTT
5.
boo00st, i know you seemed interested in the meet, just wondering what was holding you back from adding yourself to the list and getting a tune?
Clay- Just wanted to double check on this, but a custom flash for an existing IX customer is also $300, let me know thanks?
Once we get one more guy on the list that is definitely coming then i will send my deposit in right away, i just want 5 guys first.

You guys don't understand. YOu have to send the deposits FIRST for anything to happen. If 5 don't sign up, then you get your money back. Constantly updating this thread asking for a tuning trip and other people to sign up doesn't do anything unless you send your deposits. If all 4 of you had already sent deposits, then we'd be on here saying "1 more deposit and the trip is booked!" Instead, we're just saying that SOME people MAY have interest, but only 1 is interested enough to send a deposit.
Yes, $300 for custom flash for an existing customer. Why do you want 5 guys first? It doesn't matter - you're just delaying the trip.

Hey, your choice to be irrational, so you can deal with the alternative (whatever that may be). I'm just trying to make something happen instead of spinning our wheels.
EVOLIX, it depends on the type of tune. If the STI has an EcuTek flash already, then it's $400 for a custom reflash. If he has no tune, then he'll have to pay for the EcuTek license, which will make it $650 minimum. If he has Cobb AccessPort, then $400 for 2 maps (pump gas & race gas).

ok he has no tune. So i guess were lookin at around 700. He will want ecutek tho. What kinda results can he expect for a sti with tbe, intake, mbc, 20g,helix tmic, 750 injectors?
I don't know anything about STI's and their power, sorry. I must say that I cannot believe he has an upgraded turbo and injectors with no tune, though. How'd that happen?
i am more than willing to send in a deposit but i would prefer if we could arrange it on a dyno. i know there is a awd dyno in durham which is pretty central in the state. http://www.absoluteautomotive.com/
thats there web address i never dealt with them or even spoke to them, but im sure we could work something out. im just not really fond of the idea of doing midnight blasts down some highway tuning the car.

I hasve talked to them about being on the dyno before and they are kool as hell. I know they would be aight with us using it to tune. Granted they don;t tune evos but the way the guy was talking to me is we could do it on a weekend and he said he would love to see our cars put down some numbers. + 1 for dyno tuning for this trip.
Well, boo00st, every other tuning trip is road tuning, so it's not like this is out of the ordinary. IT's especially easy in NC as compared to Denver, LA, Atlanta, etc. Al does not like to tune on dynos, and it adds expense to everyone's tune, so it's not a likely event.

and I've already had al beat on my ride like a rental once before...
count me out for a second tune... back to 3...
