Al thanks for the great tune this past weekend and thanks for double checking everything last night. Please let me know when the IX is supported as I would love to have the 100oct map for track days.

What you are trying to imply with this thread is that you have come up with this revolutionary programming system when in fact you are just using openecu's freeware and the cable from tactrix. Nothing to be embarrassed about Al. No one expects you to be a code hacker. You're just using a currently available tool. A tool that any tuner or end-user can use themselves on their own car with their own laptop. Unless I'm mistaken, they can even view and email your (or anyone elses) ROM files to anyone else using the system. So, in effect, you're giving away whatever little IP you already have. Until, of course, they realize that they can do it themselves for free. In fact, it looks like they can download this software for free, purchase a $90 cable, find a dynoflashed car and read and save the ROM file. Wouldn't this pretty much make you obsolete, no?
I'm not going to be tinkering with the parameters in my own ECU anytime soon, nor am I willing to take a risk and use a map designed for another person's car. I'm a software engineer so I'm sure it wouldn't be difficult to figure out, but even still I'll leave it to professionals like Al who do this day in and day out...
And no I'm not a DynoFlash customer or fanboy (yet)...
Back on topic, do you plan on selling mail-in flashes in this manner, ie $X dollars gets you mail-in maps (base, mod-tailored 100 octane, mod-tailored 92 octane, ...) the cable, the laptop software, and your instructions?

I think this is more so for maps that have been tailerd to youre car! If you get a custom tune and you have a race map, and a pump map, you can switch between the 2 at the drop of a dime!
ps what do you think the mail in flash is!!
youre not making any sence!!
