EFLASH! Line-up

Hey guys I was just wondering who has ordered the EFLASH! service from AL. I figure it would be nice to keep a log of those who've ordered and when the order was placed so we can see who's next in line to receive their EFLash rather than having to constantly pester the man for an answer.

Name/SN: Kunal/inco9nito99.
Date Ordered: May 23rd.
Received/Not Received: Not recieved after nearly two-weeks.
Satisfaction Overall: Still awaiting the edited ROM after numourous "I'm busy, but tonight" promises.

ps. the files aren't lost as i've sent the info/ROM to both of his emails twice and he HAS responed once regarding them.

Sending maps via email and tyring them out is a risk factor I think. Every car will act differently. I dont now how someone can do "remote tuning" like this. Get yourself a wideband....and LEARN HOW TO TUNE.

If traveling was the case, that shouldve been pointed out when customers of his called him and he responded by saying "i'll have it by tonight" everytime they call . I talked to David and he says he heard the same thing from Mr. Al.

As far as platinumspecv, this EFLash isn't for me. My friend is computer illiterate and having me do the "dirty" work for him. I am setting up his ECUFlash/EFlash for him; I have another car that i've tuned myself to some serious hp via DSMLink + WBO2 (look at my sig). Next time don't prejudege me .

I wouldn't have a problem with all of this if it weren't for two things.
1. He gave me a specific time and date that he would have my maps.
2. Someone put an order in for an Eflash map days AFTER I put mine in and he received his 3 HOURS after he submitted his order.
I've sent him my info/data twice. The second at his request on Saturday, and I've received nothing back from him.
How can I cut the man a break when he doesn't tell me anything?

Getting an E-flash is not much different than getting a Mail-in tune. The only difference is that I load the tuned map onto the ECU that Al provides vice him doing it himself.
And I do plan on tuning myself. I just wanted a better starting point than stock would provide.

Your issue is you asked for something that he has not done (89 Map). I don't see the need for that personally but whatever floats your boat. I am sure your 93 Map will be fine.

Your map was emailed to your address on Sat.

If you have not recieved it please check in your span filter box if applicable as in some cases the attached files may sometimes result in emails being witheld.

I only sent you ONE file for 92 octane as I was unable to make a 89 octane map for you - I am refunding you the balance now.

I am sorry that my busy travels have left me unable to fulfil your order in a timely fashion.

Many E Flash orders have been filed in a very fast manner and yours and Mr. Herrera's no dount have taken to long.

In my own defense, I have literally not had a moments rest in the past two weeks.

I am doing my best to keep up with demand.

In your case, obviously not enough, I am refunding your money.

I am headed off to Lime Rock tomorrow to do race track tuning on a T2 evo I was working on all day today and also Friday in between I also drove to VA in the rain Friday night and tuned for 16 hours Sat and tuned all day yesterday and drove home last night.

Again, sorry I could not be quicker at fufilling your order - MY mistake and I am refunding your 100% payment now

I just wanted to add this explanation

Many maps I have already conerted from one format to another.

These are ready to go and I can get them out in short order.

Other maps I have to transfer from my old equipment to the new which requires about an hours time and also means I have to have two seperate laps tops set up and going.

Often when road tuning and dynoing it is hard to find a block of time to devote to properly reviewing and setting up a map. Everything I do is checked and double checked.

I would rather take a extra day or two to make sure what I am sening out is perfect.

ALL MAIL IN FLASHES GO OUT THE SAME DAY they come in and they also take up a huge block of time every day and I do what ever it takes to get them out the same day 99.999% ship the same day.

Thanks
