i plan on showing up for a reflash.
but since i wont have any mods for a while will it be worth it to show up.i plan on getting an intake and bushur racing 3" turboback but thats probably not going to be till the end of september i got alot of bills to pay within the next two months followed by a vacation.hmm what to do.

also with the flash it reduces boost taper right.i thought i read that somewhere on al's subforum.something about setting the solenoid from 3 secs to like 10 min.thats will enable the car to make more peak boost right.correct me if im wrong.

Yes, even with none of those mods, getting a base flash is very much worth it for only $199. You will gain a good bit of power from the tuning, and it will also remove some of that nasty stock boost taper. It won't make more peak boost - it will just hold that boost longer.

The dates are in the thread title. Yes, whatever price you see on the first post is the right price - the dates are there, too.

I'm in for your mail in flash - hopefully I'll have all my mods done by then - so far it's just a Buschur Intake and pipe.

Zgodfathera, then get your deposit in so we can get closer to 5 deposits. Until then, Al won't book his flight.

Maxx, you can get a base flash anytime, but you won't always have the opportunity to get custom tuned. YOu should consider paying just another $200 to get a full 2hr custom tune so that it's perfectly set for your car. A custom tune from other major flash tuners would cost you almost twice as much...

Al, I'm interested in getting an Evo IX tuned at the Dynoflash Tuning session in Southern California on September 02, 2006. I'm new to this whole forum thing and was wondering what I need to do in order to sign up.

My funds are hating... I think im just gonna go w/ the base mail in flash because i only have enough money for a cat-back + the flash. Hey War whats the difference between the custom and base mailin flash? Other than the additional time? I might just do it but im not sure if its worth it for just a cat-back?

A custom flash is worth more than a cat-back, I can tell you that much. The base flash is just a best guess at a tune based off your current mods, octane, and boost. IT works well, but since it can't be 100% optimized for your car, then it must be made more conservative for the sake of safety. With a custom tune, the 2 hours is spent fine tuning every portion of your ECU for the best possible idle, most power with no knock, and smoothest drivability.
