I sent an e-mail to the address and I'm awaiting a response. Thank you!
I believe I sent the full amount to paypal so I'm signed up for 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. on September 02, 2006...right?
My mods will be:
3" magnaflow exhaust (had the taper removed)
3" test pipe
2.75" downpipe
injen intake w/ic pipes
I'll post a dyno a couple days after the session here and on www.mitsubishiforums.com for those interested in seeing the results.

Ok, so you paid in full? I'll add you to the list.
You should just post the dynographs here. Hardly anyone uses that site, but there are 40,000+ people here.

Could I get the Buschur/warrtalon Evo IX package done by you guys one of those days? If so what would Be the OTD cost for everything installed +flashed? I also like the Buschur V-band exhaust so I can easily swap the high-flow with the cat delete. How much of a price difference would that be? Also will the flash be done keeping in mind our awesome 91 octane CA gas?
Buschur/Warrtalon EVO IX Stage 1 - $1270!!
- Buschur Racing Turboback Exhaust with your choice of Hi-Flow Cat or Test Pipe and choice muffler (quite or loud)
- Forge UNOS MBC
- Autometer -30 - +30 Boost Gauge + single pillar pod
- Buschur IX Stg1 Flash (different from the VIII flash)

I have an IX with just a drop in filter and cat-back exhaust but don't plan any other motor mods. Would the $400 custom road tune be worth it or better just to spend the $175 for a standard flash? Reasons?

CIC, I am not sure Al will be able to travel and then install all those mods without a garage or tools and such. He has done some installs in the past, but doing all of those at once may be difficult. I will see what he thinks. You'd have to give a larger deposit so that he is sure that you'll show up with everything and pay in full. He just had a guy in FL who reserved time for a cam install and then tune, but AFTER Al had already caught his flight, he got online and cancelled, which meant Al carried 30lbs of tools for nothing. You see what I mean...
Anyway,
1) Typically, you get the package from Buschur (only way to get it), Buschur sends the parts in the mail and gives you an RA# for your flash. You install the parts, then either send the ECU for a mail-in flash for those mods and 91oct, or you install the mods and wait for a tune in person (base flash included, custom tune is $200 more)
2) If you want the v-band, you'd have to get the parts separately, because David only gives the package pricing when people get the exact package with no changes. He does not allow substitutions. It may be worth asking, though, when you call to make the order. They may just add $200 or something to the price, but they don't normally do that.
3) Flashes are always done according to octane. Al has tuned many Evos on 91oct and has been to LA 2-3 times alone. I recommend you get a custom flash upgrade for $200 on top of the WT package so that you can get the maximum performance and smoothness out of your IX.
Jnathan, yes, even with those basic mods, a custom flash is preferable, because it's 100% customized for your car. Even with the same mods, not every car behaves the same, so a custom tune is best when you have the option. Most people aren't close enough to a good tuner to get a custom flash, so in this case, you'd be best off taking advantage of the opportunity. However, I do think you should add a manual boost controller and boost gauge to finish things off nicely. I'd suggest finishing the exhaust, but I'm guessing you don't want to mess with CA emissions and such...

Warralton, I do currenty have a Hallman Pro RX MBC and an autometer boost gauge. Was going to remove the MBC before getting the flash because my understanding was that the flash would control boost (and taper). Wanted to remove so I don't have to worry about it when taking the car to the dealership...same reason I was not going to do the TBE. Will I be able to have the flash set max boost and reasonably control the taper?

Jnathan, it's best to use an MBC. A flash can't really set "max" boost, but it can remove most of the taper. If you want no mods whatsoever, then you'd be fine with just the flash, but you won't run as much boost or as much power as someone with an MBC and raised boost above stock.
