Oh man, when did you get an EcuTek flash? Booo.
You'll have to discuss that with Al, because if he doesn't have your EcuTek map, he'll have to zero it out and start from scratch, which is not desirable. If you can get that map emailed to you from whoever tuned you, that would help a lot. At the very least, you know you won't have to pay for a license.

Haha, sorry, it was free. A lot of the stuff i talk to you about through PM is for other people with Evo's that aren't on EvoM. Like that Mail-in i did last week didn't go on my car.
I will discuss it with Al after i find out if i can get the map or not.
So is it like, i have to schedule a custom tune if i can't get the map. But if i have the map i can just stop by like a base flash, with no appointment?
What is Als general pricing for ECUTek reflashes that already are liscensed?

I don't know his normal EcuTek prices, since it has never come up, but it should be the same as any custom tune.
You would make an appointment if you want a custom tune. You wouldn't make an appointment if you wanted a base flash. The dependency is the type of tune, not whether you have the map or not.
How did you get a free $650 EcuTek license? I can't even get that from Al for my Legacy GT Wagon.

I would just want a base flash. But if i couldn't get the map, i'd imagine the base flash would take to long since he would have to build it from the ground up, so i was thinking i would have to schedule time for a custom tune. What ever, we will see when it gets closer and i know for sure where i'm at.

Interesting, Scott usually does TechTom for 03-05 VIIIs, since they are much cheaper and work just as well. I'm very surprised he gave away an EcuTek flash that cost him a license when he could have given a TechTom flash at no cost to himself. Strange.

Really, in all reality, i don't even know which i would rather have more; if it were my money i would be all over a TechTom, just so i didn't have to deal with all the locking issues with EcuTek; and of course it is significantly cheaper, and equally productive.
