I DISAGREE

Although the evo does have a dual level voltage system

The higher of the two voltages is FAR lower than battery voltage

Hard wriring the pump to the battery will help it flow more

Here is my suggestions for Evo pumps

STock - stock boost - stock pump

Any modified - modified boost Evo - Walbro 342

Larger turbo - hard wire the pump with a relay

500 Plus whp - use Buschur high flow pump

550 plus whp - needs full fuel system

When you say "full fuel system"
Other than a better pump or dual pumps and injectors, what else do you consider a full system?
Just talking strictly terminology.

I am assuming he would mean fuel rails and the like, which is really only required for very high WHP, as the stock Evo rails are not shabby.

Interesting, I am assuming that the Walbro 342 flows more then the 255LPH model? Also, on an otherwise 100% Stock fuel system, would a larger fuel pump overrun the stock (TINY) FPR and cause a bump in base fuel pressure ( I believe it is 37.5 at 0 Vacuum / Boost)

Any tutorials on a hardwire job for the fuel pumps? Anyone doing that mod should hide an ON/OFF in the line for an additional security measure.
