13.0@107 on mail in flash

Just went to the track and ran a 13.0@107 on 20psi only other mods are ebay turbo back exhaust and intake. Great results so far with the dyno flash. My 60 was 1.9 and I think a few more runs I would have easily hity 12's. My car is bran new only has 1400miles and no oil change. I didnt launch it hard but next time I will. Next track day 25psi 100octane and hard launches. Thanks AL for a great mail in cant to get you back out Tucson for a custome tune when I do my mani, 02 houseing and meth inection

What is up OJ? I was there watching you and racing at the track with my CRX SI. I stopped to say hello to you. You ran very well considering that you haven't race the Evo 9 there at all before.

Right now you are running a conservative boost, if you were to add a couple of 109oc race gas galons you could be running 25psi no problem (I have done it). I have no doubt that your car is very capable of mid 12 sec, I have done it with the same mods. Don't be discourage, you will run mid 12's which around here(Tucson) is a succcess.

Your trap speed is strong for 91oct in Tucson. That night only one american muscle car ran a 12.8 most of the cars ran high 14's and 15's.

Take care OJ

Carlos

Don't get it confused, this is not Tuscan, this is Tucson. The fastet ever Evo 9 in Tucson was Rob's Evo 9(white RS) which ran 13.6@99 stock. Rob is a member of this forum his user id is Fastrob and he posted in fact on this page.

We can't really fairly compare other Evo 9 running 13.0 on the East Coast, this guy ran his Evo 9 for the first time and with huge room for improvement.

My Evo 9 MR with only a turboback exhaust ran a 13.6sec @ 106MPH. I was pretty happy considering, this was on a Texas summer heat and humidity.

It would be interesting to see what your Evo will do @ the track, after a custom tune

I had a MBC but I got wrong instal directions and installed it backwards and could only make 10psi no matter what I dont so I pulled it off and ran with out it. I had alot of help from the awesome wheather we had that night about 75-80 degrees and about 30-45 mins between runs. I finally figured out the wastegate and turbo line was reversed on the MBC but that was 2 days later.

Hey Carlos next time ill take u up on that offer when I need help installing a part
