Those photos are a year old now. Shortly after the pics were taken, I put some of the stuff back in the car. People are always posting those pics after I run a good time in an attempt to discredit my car, so people tend to think they are recent pics. Here are the exact specs up to the minute for those who are interested:

The car weighs 3140lbs with me in it and about a 1/4 to 3/8 tank of gas.

The car has the following for weight reduction: No jack/spare, no rear seats, no rear door panels, no carpeting, no sound deadening, two Recaro Pole Position racing seats, lexan sunroof, mini battery under the hood.

The car still has a lot of weight left to come out: Stock wheels, stock brakes, stock suspension, stock catback exhaust (I run a cutout), A/C, heat, dashboard, airbags, factory stereo system (with sub in the trunk), passenger seat, all factory body panels (no carbon fiber), front door panels, and much, much more.

I hope this helps clear up any confusion.

better call doctor emit brown and see if the delorian is still working after it got hit by the train. they closed 3 weeks ago as far as i know. if not id like to get a few more runs in as well

 

damn it. I just checked out Atco. They have Test/Tune this Sat/Sun at 10am. I am going to go if anyones interested. Should be nice and cool out and not very crowded!

 

I'd be down for atco this saturday if the weather is good and if the track is dry....

According to that calculator. If i put in my cars weight with me, (3400lbs), the only weight reduction i have in the car is Buschur Exhaust. and my dynoed hp (340whp). I would trap 108.6 mph. I trapped 113.1 at the track. On my own (more aggresive) 93 octane tune, i trapped 114.8.

Anyways congrats, on the impressive driving.

On a side note this was the way mike's car looked in his last published pictures, so that is the reason why most think his car has signifigant weight reduction.



Oh, and i know cb's car has the lightest rotating everything to get the trap speed he did, I was just proving a point that it was done, laws of nature or not.

 

ya that pic is very old i will take some new pics of car and post car in the front is like a car has door panels and center consold, with radio and heat and ac its nice. and nice to drive that way. and two race seats.
