Thumbs up Dynoflash 6th trip to AZ.. May 07

Well guys, it is time to get buckwild and get big Al here. I want to anticipate this trip so that you have plenty of time to get your stuff ready.

Tucson is Evo city but one more time we plan to accomodate our other fellow Arizonans Evo members. Please contact me via PM and I will respond your question in a timely manner as I am used to.

Lets have fun and get your cars fast and safe. Dynoflash also masters Subaru cars tuning and other methods of tuning as well.

Sign up now.. lets make it happen guys!

Thanks!

Carlos

I just had a Forge wastgate actuator installed yesterday. I need to find out from Al, if the tune needs to be adjusted for that. A/F remains unchanged after the install (10.5 at the wideband sensor in the downpipe), but what a difference this part made. Holds 25psi all the way up now. w00t!

Btw, Carlos I still can't believe you sold your Evo. Lets see how long it takes before you get the X when its finally out

Bill,

I am glad to hear that your forged waste gate actuator is holding boost longer. This mod directly translate in higher and longer power and torque curves, basicly you will have a more usable power. It should also help you to gain more speed on the trap speed (engine maintains and pushes harder and longer).

Yeah, Evo gone but I am still a Mitsubishi enthusiast. The Evo X is not part of my plans anymore (for now), at least I stick yo my promises(it was going to be a GT-R, a bmw 335i, a Evo X or a 07 Z06)

Carlos

Bump

I will put my name on the list and a send deposit for this event... but I need to see if I can get any kind of discount this round. I only need some very minor adjustments and this will be my 3rd tune by Al.

Question

Which spring did you get with the WGA, I put mine on and adjusted it w/o boost contoller but am still getting taper down to about 18-19 on autometer gauge, stock WGA held about 17 so I am up about 1-2 psi,but I am @ 4200 ft. I think I am going to check for boost leaks soon, but car makes great power and traps high @ SIR so I do not feel there are any leaks,

I got the standard 24psi spring they're shipping by default. Mine would spike to 25 then hold 24 for nearly the duration but then dropping reluctantly near 7500.

That being said though, I was good for about 2 days then all of a sudden I've got problems.... boost won't even hit 25 now, hits 24 and immediatly nose dives hard and fast to as low as 15 before slowly trying to climb back up to 21. Quite weird. I will be in the shop tomorrow where we will be making some adjustments etc per Mike Forge's instruction to see if we can correct the issue.

i have to get on this list so she can be adjusted to the water injection and fuel pump. i doubt my base flash will allow for this without ugly AFRs.

Jeffrey,

Send me a PM and I will put you in orbit with the Tucson Evo community (one of the highest Evo per square mile location in the country) . Once we see your car in person we will be able to tell you who use to own it before, We all know who's car use to belong to who.

This is the perfect time to do a custom tune, Big Al will be here in May and that will be your chance to get your car fast ,reliable and safe.

We are looking forward to see you.

Carlos
