Tale of two Stage I Evo IX's - one with o2 housing and on with stock o2 housing

Tital says it all - two IX's on the same day - both tuned the same way - similar mods - boost level - a/f etc etc

It seems the 02 housing is good for a solid 10 whp or more

Looks the car with the o2 housing is running factory boost control. His spoolup is wicked late compared to the first car.

The variation is when I hit the load on the dyno and when I trigger the ramp up and how long I hold it boosting before I let the ramp up go

On the street they would bost spool up about the same

Thanks for the post, Al. Appreciate the expert research on mods like this...of course, that's why I'm getting O2 housing.
