Stock Dynoflash WOW!
Stock Dynoflash WOW!
I just got the Fedex package this morning. Al was great to deal with and his turnaround time/customer service was exceptional. I sent the Paypal and received a tracking number the same day thet he received the package...
The car feels so much stronger above 5 thousand RPMs.. It pulls and pulls... This is how the car should have come from the factory. Other places locally were trying to sell me an expensive Super AFC and Boost Controller.
The Dynoflash is just as good on a stock car for much less $$$$$$$$
Thanks AL!

You will only be without your ECU for 2-3 days... If you send it Tuesday night, you can have it Thursday by noon. I followed the package online (Fedex website) and once Al got the package, he flashed it and gave me a tracking number within a couple of hours. You need to have your car flashed, you will not believe the difference! It really woke up the car!
I did mine last week bone stock with reflash. I haven't opened it up yet, but already can feel the car being more resposnsive from idle on. Almost like I have a 6 cylinder in high idle waiting to take off!!! I was expecting more hp and torque once boost began, but the low end driveability increase really caught me by surprise. Now I'm hooked and have to get a custom dyno tune.
Simply amazing.
If you haven't done this yet, you are doing yourself an injustice.

I got the DynoFlash on my stock EVO a few weeks ago.
Starting from Idle seems much smoother, I am not sure if this is from an increase or decrease in torque, or my imagination.
Definately the boost holds a bit longer. I am happy overall, I wish I did a stock dyno, then a flashed dyno to have a numbers comparison.
That said, I am happy with what it is. Shortly I will be adding a boost controller and catback, probably fuel pump upgrade as Al recommends, and reflash.

I also have the Dynoflash on an otherwise stock car. The power curve is definitely smoother, and it seems a lot less shakey when idling. It isn't as jerky as the factory curve, and since you're accelerating at a more consistent rate, there is less head snapping action. Although I was happy about the quick turn around, my nice packaging was removed and the ECU was just dropped in a FedEx bag for the return. It all worked though, obviously. I did a stock Dyno run so I may go back under similar conditions and do another.
