Big Al's Car
For those of us looking to follow in Al's foot steps and get to 500+ HP can you tell us what mods you have? Also for those of us working towards a 10 to 11 second Evo daily driver what upgrade paths would be best and most cost effective?

ok I am telling everyone... and I know some of you have said it already... wait till all the tracks open back up. a lot of companies have upgrades that they havent been able to test since the tracks are closed. I have no doubt what so ever that we will see a 10 second evo when all the tracks open up.
as for your upgrade path I woul just hold for a little bit. wait and see what all the companies are doing with their cars. If you want to start I think you can go with the generic stuff you will always need such as turboback, intercooler, hard pipes, clutch, and even Engine management. but on the EM and Clutch make sure you have an idea of where you are going and that your choices have all the capabilities to get you there.(obviously do not buy an exedy single plate if you want a 10 second evo) as MP5 said buschur can get you deep into the 11's (with a stock turbo) with some of the stuff thats coming out and some tuning and a DRIVER I dont think 10's will be that far off.

I don't know why you posted this on the Dynoflash forum. But there are alot of vendors (including Al) who could help you build a 10 second vehicle. Keep in mind, its going to take luck and finesse to keep the stock drivetrain intact. To be more reliable, you need to spend more money. To run a 10 your going to need a rollcage also. So call you local DSM shop and spec things out.

You know what the main thing to understand is...
1. Having a FAST car on demand
2. Having a car that can be switched into FAST DRAG car, and then switched into everday car in matter of seconds is really important!!!
