Hey guys - arrived in Chicago - could NOT believe how nice a shop AMS is - what a reat place
I think I have now demonstrated the durability of my engine design on my short block and head as I have logged nearly 2,ooo miles in the past week and also done several 125 mph drag
runs
- While other tuners blow up engines before they ven get to the track - my stuiff not only works on the track - it stays together for thousands o miles of HARD abusive driving - I know f NO other tuner house doing this kind of R& D work on the evo - - my hard wrok will yield safer tunes for the dyno flash and also tested and effective block and head set ups
- simply put - my theries work in practice
I made it from Chattanooga TN to Cicaho - just over 600 miles in a bliseruing 7.75 hours today - it was a ver
y enjoyable drive - the roll bar is really helping , I was driving through some nice long autoban type tiwsting mountain passes in TN and the car was like on rials at 100 mph - I can no give enough credit to the Sparco harness - it is not only confortable when wearig it for hours - it gives you a feeling of security and holds you better in the seat - its a huge improvement

Good to hear ya made it safe to Chitown Al.
Thanks for taking the time right before you left to talk to me for almost a half hour about Dynoflash lastnight. I really apprecaited it Al.
Hope that I didn't delay you at all on leaving but from the looks of it you made awesome time! I got off the phone with you at 6:00pm central and you posted here at 2:18am. HOW THE HELL FAST WERE YOU GOING?
I am really searching for someone to get those cams in today and tomorrow. I have the day off tomorrow so hopefully I can get it done and I wil have you do a custom tune, as we talked about yesterday, on Saturday after I get out of work.
Thanks a lot Al....your help is definately appreciated! Wanna do my cams? LOL

Al,
Glad to hear you made it up to chicago with no problems. The mountains are awesome in TN,NC and North GA. The dynoflash in TN was great and both Scottyahama and me are very happy with the results. The AMS guys are in for an expierence like no other. You know your sh%t and take it very seriously and that is what I want from someone tunning my car. Plus your a cool guy. We are having a big DYNO day (15 cars) in Atlanta on May 15 and I will make sure I post the results.
There will be alot of fast car in Chi-town this weekend

Thanks again AL...the AMS event was awesome! Good to meet all of you guys that attended!!! It was a complete rush!!!
Wow Al, 6 clutching bruning, tire spinning track runs and then another 2000 miles in a week, at more the 90 mph? Now I'm no longer worried about issues with the evo lol.

Hey guys - some stuff I had posted about my travels yesterday was deleted for some strange reason
Just wanted to say that I made it back home without incident
Total miles 2600 plus
Right now - even after 12 hours os seat time driving from chi-town yesterday - i am super looking forward to getting back behind the wheel and hitting the boost !!!!
I also wanted to say mad props to the Sparco harness - its something that every evo should have - its why we have holes in our seats and they really help you if you ever do any hard crazy driving
I have some new tricks comming down the line real soon

Thank you SC!
Bump.....
Al, can you give us some information on what type of setup we would need to see this kind of fuel efficiency on long trips?? Prices are over $2 a gallon where I live already!
Thanks.

Boomn29....he's using the AEM EMS system....so unless your using a stand-alone (correct me if I am wrong someone) you won't be able to adjust it. Just watch that you don't hit boost...that's the biggest part of losing gas mileage
