I like the way it looks ! 11.14 @ 130 !

The IDRC event was really nice and it was great to hang out with all the DC Evo guys

Special thanks to Exedy Clutch for the give a ways and hosting a small dinner for all the guys racing !!!!!!!!!!!

I was just too stupid myself and should have waited for the final to take a shot at 10.99

Instead I did it during a qualifying round - this after I was already the #1 quailifier - and I hurt something in my rear diff, thereby keeping me out of the rest of the race when it was almost a sure thing I could have reached the finals

Also - sorry i had to leave in such a rush - I wanted to start heading back right away in case the rear diff let loose and I got suck on the side of the road at night in the middle of no where

I was lucky - the car made it back and I have a spare diff already so just another good excuse to spend some quality time under my car

Still - all was not lost as i had a wonderful time and I was able to run the car 310 miles each way on its own steam and get the 11.14 @ 130 - it was a really good feeling to feel all that power - the engine was running very strong

Nice run!

You're THIS close to that 10.99, very sweet run.

Might want to invest in a trailer soon, though. The faster you get, the quicker you break the important stuff.

Al that car was looking good Sunday, are you aware of the massive amounts of wheel spin you have when you launch your car? Also what is that black cable that was hanging on the passenger side of the car?

Actually-- I was number 1 qualifier with 10.97@134. Sorry to hear about your car, glad you made it back home ok.

Its too bad i did not have more self discipline so we could have met in the final round ! It would have been a good race - your car was running well and I think it would have been a good race.

As fate had it the idela track conditions lured me out to attempt a 10.99 pass - which was very foolish !

Its irreleveant at this point who was the top qualifier as I did not even roll into the show. I hear there was some issue with your car set up and equipment required for the street tire class.

I congratulate you as a good competitor and hope to meet you again at the races of Nopi and Idrc in the near future

As fo rthe other guy's questions :

I run c-16 VP gas

The wire hanging out my door is the same motec unit I use to tune my customer's cars - I run it during the qualifying and 1st rounds to fine tune the car - I find the best place to get a perfect tune is in 4th gear on the back half of the track - by my third pass of the day I had picked up 2 extra mph gain in the back 1/8 - my record pass I went from 97 mph to 130.3 mph - not bad IMHO for a tiny turbo like the 3037 s

What i can really tell you guys is that MIR is a really super well preped track and its a wonderful place to race.

I will be back there for sure
