297 whp 318 whp with exhaust and MBC

Here is our newest member of the Dyno Flash family

A fantastic guy from PA

He had a 3" exhuast - MBC (Hallman) and a K & N drop in filter - or course a Walbro fuel pump and Dyno Flash

He also had the Exedy Hyper Single clutch which helps out a bit with its light weight

A super nice result

Here is the stock ecu vs. the custom Dyno Flash

Almost a carbon copy of mine with basically the same mods. Nice consistency, Al!

Nice numbers Al!

I am scheduled for the Tampa tune and have a quick question:

Is there any benefit to a HKS RS intake VS an K&N drop in? Is one better for peak numbers and the other better for area under the curve/throttle response. What are your experiences with each?

Thanks,

Aaron

We have a dyno sheet posted here - look through some of the threads from about two weeks ago that gives a A - B test between those two intake set ups HKS is abou 10 whp more - but be very careful if you install it before the tune - it runs very lean on the stock ecu settings and can damage your engine
