A flash has nothing to do with how the air flows across the MAF sensor. IMO the only truly safe way to run the AEM intake is to run it in conjunction with their MAP conversion kit. I believe it comes with their stand-alone EMS system.

Every aftermarket intake set up will have an effect on the reading of the MAF sensor

What we do is to get these cars on the dyno and create fuel maps which work well with the particular intake to dial in a flat 11.1 / 1 a/f ratio

We have base maps for the following intakes:

1 - AEM

2 - HKS RS

3 - Buschur and Buschur with suction pipe

4 - K & N Drop in filter

5 - AMS

6 - ARC

7 - APexi

All you have to do when changing your intake is ship me the ecu along with the $100 upgrade fee and we install the new map to match your intake and other mods (The $100 fee is waived for those who had a custom tune)

IT IS IMPORTANT - that you do not change the intake on a Dyno Flash ecu without getting it upgraded

Thanks
