Random Misfire 0300: Dealership reflash available...

Hi Al, I'm afraid to take my car to the dealer to get this done, will it erase my Dynoflash?

Yes it will erase your dynoflash. But you don't have to worry about the dealership noticing that you have a reflashed ecu when you go in to visit.

Very soon I will have this reflash available here at Dyno Flash

ALL you will have to do is send in your ecu to me directly instead of the dealer and I will install the updated flash with the Dyno Flash for your car added !

The only problem here from what I see is that the new apparanetly DOES NOT work as promised to eliminate the 0300 misfire codes

Maybe some people who already had the code fixing flash can chime in ?

Originally back a few months ago I was acting under the assumption that the Dyno Flash totally corrected the 0300 code issue that certain INDIVIDUAL evos have been having

The reason for this statement was based upon the fact that for 6 months we has never seen a 0300 code on a Dyno Flashed evo

Also - many users who had previously had the 0300 code issue reported that iyt went away after the DYno Flash was installed

Then - we stared to pick up some customers which had what I would desicribe as a sereve / cronic 0300 code issue who were looking to get a reflash to rid themselves of the code

On these cars we were able to significantly REDUCE the frequency and occurance of the 0300 code issue - however it became clear that the tuning alone was not the problem

At that point we revised our statement to indicate that the Dyno Flash significantly improved 0300 code issues in many cars but was not guaranteed to elminate the problem

Now the designed reflash is out and it also seems to be unable to correct the misfire code issue in several cars - at least that is what I have been told

Obviously - at this point the few cars that are afflicted with the frequent / severe / cronic misfire CAN NOT expect to see correction of the misfire 0300 code issue with the Dyno Flash - but they CAN expect to see improved perfromance and power with our reflash as can any other customer

I am working on getting the 0300 fix code and testing it to try and deterimine what if anything we can offer to help resolve this serious problem

I hope this clarifies issues for you

As Far As I know I'm the only one with the what you call the "SEVERE CRONIC MISFIRE" and having the dynoflash Doesn't do anything for me, not even power i can't feel anything cause from gear 1 through 5 at 900RPM through whatever i can't drive i got to the point that I'd actually spend the money on the AEM to rid myself of the nonsense!

bump. Any new discoveries Al? My buddy's car has thrown this code from the get go. He has a mail in flash and is very interested in you efforts to alieviate this misfire code. Just recently he said that it has become worse.
