As far as power - I would say identical - THAT is IF you have the actual Buschur filter on the Buschur pipe

IF you get a generic cone filter type - then a lot depends on the particular design of the intake

The HKS seems to idel better than the old Buschur set up - however the new Buchur pipe idels as a stock car with the new idle flash

 

The cone filter I have now was bought at AMS when you did my fireball flash back in March. You told me to get it for the tune. This one is the one made for the evo.

 

Ah - that is a great unit !

It will work very nicely indeed with the new Buschur pipe

However - I can not guarantee you that it fits physically - the new Buschur pipe sticks up at a new angle - you'll understand when you see one

Call Buschur and as them if the K & N cone will fit

Hey Al i have a dilema, i will send in the deposit if i can get this figured out, i am getting my cams installed on friday afternoon in california. The only spot you have left is the 11:00-1:00 and i am driving up there with lilevilevo and evo81 and their apointments are earlier. Do you have any ideas of what i can do to make this happen. I really appreciate all of your help.

 

The best manner in which to proceed is to kindly ask (PM them ) one of the other members if they mind moving to a later time due to your long travel. I am confident that at laeast one member will be willing to accomidate you
