how are you guys going to do it? You guys are going to try out the dual flash setup?
im asking because if you get the tune with 100 oct that means you will have to run that fuel at all times...
but if your doing the dual flash setup i think you need higher octane for that?
AL will chime in though as Im curious also..

Then we pour in some 100 - turn up the boost and adjust the dual stage settings
I would suggest getting a 5 gallon gas can and brining it with you so we can just pour it in when we are ready - I dont want to waste someones's valuable tuning time looking for a gas station - I like to have the full 2 hours available in case I need all that time which sometimes I do
Im sure its a trade secret but can you PM me or post up how the ecu knows when to change maps or how the ecu knows you just put 100 oct?
Very interesting...might have to go find a 5 gal tank...

Think of an unused range of code for Boost 25-30psi that normally would remain dormant because you run 23psi on 91octane. All of the sudden you turn up the boost and use that section of code which is tuned for 100. Simple theory and effective. The only thing that is tough to tune is the crossover path of octane boost while you're between 20-26psi running the 100. The car will still run normal with 100, smoother under boost because of the detonation resistance.. however will scream 25+ psi.. Just remember to turn the boost down when you runout of 100!

Only real trade off with this method is the serious issues that may arise if you run high boost on bad gas
The factory fuel cut does have its function! Taking it out is like putting live ammo in a starter pistol - you need to make sure its pointing in the right direction before you fire it.
heres a map for you guys to the 76 station from the hotel. i couldnt find the adress for it so it says left on dorothy (which dead ends in like 500 feet anyway, so you wouldnt have gone far) but youll notice the 76 station on your right when you exit chesebro anyway.

Sounds good I can't wait for this weekend.
I have a quick question for you. I am having the cams installed the morning of the 13th along with headstuds. I have heard you have to let the car rest because of the studs. Do you think it will be ok to have the road testing with just installed headstuds? Thanks
