Hey AL...I thought your run at the DSM Shootout was awesome...now you upgraded! https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...threadid=95643

GOD I wish I could come to the EVO vs WRX shootout to see you run!!! Please make sure SOMEONE takes some vid of your runs! I'm sure I speak for many here...we wanna see it!

I know you haven't had it on the car that long...but...how do you like it so far?

Nice upgrade...can't wait to see ya run again someday!

I am still in a state of complete shock

I never imagined that we could be approaching 700 whp this fast without nos

I think we can reach 700 whp

We had two big issues confront us tonight on the dyno after installing my new turbo and cams

1 - the tires were slipping like mad on the dyno - never had that problem before in awd mode - will have to figure out how to deal with it - (tire pressure was lowered to 13 psi !)

2 - I only have a 3.5 bar map sensor and I could not tune after 35 psi - I will be updating to a 5 bar sensor

We only did 4 or 5 passes of tuning here and each pass we made more power

The a/f was very conseravtive 11.6 and the timing had lots of room - zero detonation

I wanted to test it out on the street - BUT I am saving it for this weekend's NOPI race at Atco Raceway

I can honsetly say that I am starting to grow scared of driving this car

WHO would have ever thought I would have a 660 whp car - and did you see how nice and flat that dyno sheet looks ??? I love my Evo !

Yes - of course - special thanks to Pruven Performance for welding up the flange to the new down pipe and my i/c pipes ! Pruven is the best !

Its always good to have someone like Dejan "Dan" Cokic by your side when you are testing uncharted waters ! He knows just how far you can go without blowing it up !

hey Al....can you get me one of those back housings for my 3037 turbo ...i am getting the intake manifold shortly and going to still have the tuning done for the shootout....just thinking that i could use the housing..mine is only .63 backside and i could use something larger.

Al,

Alot of people think that having a tubular manifold is a no-no b/c of cracking (I even remember a post where you became terribly ill), having seen the manifold up close what do you think about longevity. Do you think this manifold has the durablility to deal with the northeast roads?

Thanks
