My take on Dynoflash
Yeah I have no empiracal evidence that he is a hack. Look at the board it looks like 9/11 came a lil early for Dynotrash. Yeah I never think and you are right all my posts are impulsive garbage based off of bogus conjecture.

This past saturday I participated in the Dynoflash day at Pruven Performance along with several other EVO owners from around the Northeast. I was there for the 9:30 to 11:00 appointment and arrived at around 9:20. Al was working on someone else's car and was running a little late. But with everything said and done, he began to tune my car at around 10:15 and finished at about 11:20 and I was welcomed to watch at all times.
My mods are in my signature and my dynosheet is attached below but the peak numbers, 304whp/330 lb-ft of torque are similar to what other tuners/dynos have gotten with similar mods (Again, SIMILAR, maybe a little lower, higher correction, whatever). During my test drive and my subsequent 100 mile back to New Jersey, I noticed significant improvements in both the magnitude and the quality of my power curve.
With this said, I have no vested interest in Al's product being made more popular or less popular or if his business succeeds or fails. I am, I believe, like most of you here, that is I simply want the best for my hard earned money. This custom tune by Al cost me all of $275 and gained me around 30whp and 45lbft of torque. I did not observe any dyno-shenanigans or anything like that (they did spray down the Intercooler with a water sprayer and also the intake manifold, but I have seen this done elsewhere as well). I am not blind to the fact that there are vishnu guys on here or guys with EMS tuned by Turbotrix that may be making more power (even safely and reliably) but I don't think anyone will argue that I would have paid significantly more money for those things and, in the case of Shiv, logistics (him being in San Fran) are an issue.
As far as Al's customer service is concerned, I think that is a matter of personal opinion and the particular encounter. Yes, the man curses a lot, yes he banters a bit, but in the end, he answered my questions, gave me the tune I needed and was very polite both to me and to my Father (who accompanied me to see if it was worthwhile for him to start playing with his EVO).
So the simple question is, was what I received this saturday worth my $275? absolutely? are there ways I could be making more power? probably. For less or equal money? Tell me if there is, because I will use it.
Sorry for the long post. Peace everybody.

Besides that, if you were to read my signature, you would see that I gave my money for a flash to someone else.
Maybe you should pull your head out just past your eyes so you can actually see whats going on
It's too bad you got screwed, glad you were able to inform everyone else of all your problems.
Who's going to flash your car now? stand alone, safc?
I usually don't say much, but my turn. I had a custom tune in May with the DCEvo guys. I was impressed with the smoothness of my dynoflash, not too much on power. Had it for a couple month then I had a problem the car on my trip to Vegas (nothing to do with my flash) Anyway, the dealership in Vegas reflashed me without approval to give me the latest software (b@stards). That's when I realized how much power I lost (I had 1100 miles to realize). I immediately got in contact with him - he said send it up and he'll reflash, I just pay shipping. FedEx was delayed, he didn't till after 4:00pm - still managed to get it out same day. To me, that's pretty good customer service. Thanks Al.

Daveswhiteevo, 264/272 or 264/264 you will like either setup! Both combo's make a huge difference, as both are cars had similar mods and close to identical #'s! Good luck!
