What kind of gas mileage are getting on E-85?

Well I just filled up tonight and got my best tank in the 3,000 miles I've been on e-85. I hit 190 miles when my gas light went on, ~15.8 mpg. Considering my local station is charging $2.49 a gallon I feel like I could almost be saving money over premium. This is with redline pulls every time I turn the key.

Anyone else have similar numbers?

I get about 14-16 mpg. Comes out to be about the same price as premium at 20 mpg.

You need to go through threads in this sub-forum (alt fuel) and read them. That'd be a good start.

The best I've ever gotten to a tank of E-85 was like 229 miles. I didn't fill up afterwards so I'm not completely sure of the gas mileage.

21 mpg on totally flat land with zero boost. On average I get 20 mpg boost no higher than 26psi and no hills. On 93 octane I get 23 to 27 mpg same conditions 20 psi boost. But it's no fun driving on low boost and 93 give me e85 and high boost and I'm a happy driver.

I recently switched to E85 and I am getting 10 mpg in heavy los angeles traffic.
well, my 91 gas weren't much better -- 14 mpg.
However, My car is pretty good on high way. I did 28 mpg with 91 gas when I had a long trip to san diego. I might not be able to do high way test since there is only 1 E85 gas station in entire LA. I can't have any long trip with E85 at all.

Seems to cut even on price since you use more. Oh well no other way to get something you can run high boost on from the pumps.
