What kind of gas mileage are getting on E-85?
Someone please correct me if I'm wrong here...
It is my understanding that when running gasoline and you live in an area that adds Ethanol in the winter (i.e. E10), the best thing is to get your car tuned in the winter that way the tune is always safe in the summer.
Conversely, when running E85 and you live in an area that adds gasoline in the winter (i.e. E70), the best thing is to get your car tuned in the summer that way the tune is always safe in the winter.
Obviously getting tuned monthly would also work, but cost a lot more.

So its probably not even worth converting e85 gas if I have to replace injector and get it tune just to increase a little bit on my gas mileage. Oh well thanks anyway

You'll also need a fuel pump. In the long term, it can pay to use E85 over gasoline, especially once gas prices start rising past $5.50/gal (its coming).
Your guys E85 prices must be way better than they are here in Ohio if you think you're saving money by switching from 93 octane gas?
E85 is around $3.49-$3.55gal vs 93 octane at $4.00gal here so it certainly isn't saving us any money.

Our e85 prices in Minnesota have been around $0.95 cheaper than 92, it may even be a $1 less now. The more the price of gas goes up, the cheaper e85 becomes when compared to 92.
Last summer I saved about $0.60 a gallon on e85 compared to 92 for a comparison.

I'm assuming the flooding in the midwest wiping out a lot of the corn crops isn't helping E85 prices. I'm sure the spread between regular gasoline and E85 has tightened up a bit since the flooding...
Our prices in central WI are about 3.30 for e85 4.25 93 when i did the math a month ago even with the 5 mpg i lose its pretty much a wash , except for the 30-40 horse you can gain.

91 octane here in Cali. is $4.71 right now and E85 is $3.79 Considering the extra volume of e85 required and the fact I can't keep my foot out of it, It costs me slightly more money but WAAAAY worth it IMO
