E85: fuel pump body grounded to chassis?
I was reading through the Walbro engineer's posts this morning in the E85 FAQ on NASIOC. Not sure if many of you have read his posts (shoeboxrich), but one of his early findings (the only finding he posted) is that a Walbro will last much longer with E85 if the fuel pump body is grounded to the chassis. I haven't gotten into my fuel pump yet to see if its grounded by any means. If its not grounded by design, I suggest that all of you folks running E85 get down there and ground the pump to the chassis by some means. Should help increase the life of a Walbro running E85.
