I have watched racing from a very young age and since the older indycars would run methanol and how they always talked about how clean it burned and such.. I was just wondering... do people run straight Meth? If not.. can you? Is it practical or just mainly for race purposes? I guess I don't understand it all much.

 

From what i hear, the pro racers who run straight meth flush out their entire fuel systems every race...Running Ethanol would be less harsh on the fuel system
