Do you guys use colder plugs with E85?
Do you guys use colder plugs with E85?
Just wondering if you guys suggest using colder plugs or not with E85? If so where can I get some reasonably priced colder plugs for a 9?

I use the OEM IX iridium equivalant plugs from NGK and seem to work for me
part# NGK ILFR7H
I get mine locally for $12/each here

Cooler plugs not recommended for E85
Since E85 burns cooler than standard gasoline, it is not recommended for E85... For C16 or other high octane gas most tuners would recommend you run colder plugs.
Just my 2 cents...

I suggest using colder plugs.
High boost>High cylinder pressures>High heat = need for a colder plug.
There's little reason for most people to not run colder plugs. Unless you use it as a daily driver putting a lot of miles and aren't running more than 21 psi and actually see them foul-up, I would just stick with a colder plug.

Sounds good. I am planning on trying out some colder copper plugs to see how that works out
