haven't seen much chit chat bout e85 recently. Anyways, my friend with a similar setup to mine, except he has cossie IX cams getting tuned tonight. Wonder how that'll turn out. He should break 400whp on the Dynapak

E85 station finally opened up here in the bay area. Concord. Currently $3.79 at the pump.

91 is approx $4.45

More stations opening up here soon.

I can finally convert.

Awesome news, can't wait to see some data from some E85 powered EVO's..On a side note, I can get 93 octane gasoline cheaper then what the station is selling e85 for in the city..I filled up yesterday somewhere else for 3.08 a gallon FTMFW

E85 was $3.39 in NC when we left. When we got to Ohio for the shootout, we saw it for $2.89.

I've seen it in Denver for $2.89. I just wish I got better mileage...3mpg. But, I'm only racing the car on closed courses, so I'm hoping the MPG will go up once I get the car street legal and I start driving it on the street.

It was 2.96 a gallon here in WA when I filled up 2 days ago. To compare that Chevron 92 was 4.06 across the street from the shop. E98 however is about 4 a gallon (still a bargain really) here.

Has anyone heard anything recently about Wal-Mart selling E85? If you Google "wal-mart E85" you will see plenty of links, but I could not find any current update.

I did find an old link of particular relevancy, however: Obama wants to change...your fuel!

If Wal-Mart were to carry E85 at all Wal-Mart and Sam's Club locations, that would be an immediate market penetration that could take years to happen one station at a time.

I read about it at E85refueling.com and how it would mean 900 stations nationwide more or less overnight.

That would mean podunk towns like where I just moved from would even have E85. Insane, but awesome nonetheless.

Walmart thing might be bad for those of us who already have E85 in our neighborhoods...there might not be enough capacity to expand that rapidly, which could cause shortages and/or price increases.
