To the ''dark side''

Just picked up a 55 gallon drum of E85 today and switching over next tuesday Pretty excited I paid about 101 dollars for 55 gallons plus I bought the barrel for 30... I have some FIC 1050's on the way and a walbro...

Mods are:
-megan tbe
-qtp o2 housing w/external dump
-agp fmic
-agp lower ic pipe
-drop in filter
-and a boost controller

Will idle be a problem for me with the big 1050's?

I will be going with gsc s2's in january

where the hell did u get a 55 gallon drum of e85? sounds pretty sweet. only thing keeping majority of people on here from switching is accessibility. the nearest pump is like 45 miles away and it's private

No problem with the idle. Search threads/posts by mrfred. He is running the FIC 1050's.

Here is a good place to start.

Where in Arizona are you located?

I have FIC 1050's and they start, idle, and drive as good or better than stock. I was scared pantsless about hard-starting E85 in the winter, but guess what, it's 5' F in MN today and she fired *right* up, just like every other day, mini battery and all!

I posted my latancies and scalings in the ecuflash forum.

If you want a good start there is a thread with mrfreds latencies and scaling for e85 w/ 1050's, I used them and they were dead on for me. The idle is excellent and overall drive-ability is great they are a very nice injector.

Yes, you are correct of course. I assumed the pump.

Its everywhere out here... It's sold at the pump about 7 miles from my house but I bought it from Western States Petroleum... It's about 15 cents cheaper a gallon there... I paid 1.85/gal
