Simple question

I know this is going to sound like a terrible noob question and I feel wrong ever posting it. But I have a good deal on a set of pte 1200 cc injectors and a Walbro 255lph pump that I need to jump on real fast.

my car is lightly modded, 10.5 hotside, 3" catless tbe, ported, exhaust mani, ported o2, tuned at just shy of 300 to the wheels.

So stock turbo, and stock ecu are the pte 1200's and 255lph the right way to go? Or should I pass this deal up and wait for something more compatible for my setup? I also plan to get tuning done at AMS.

Thanks guys, speedy responses are welcomed. Sorry again for being a noob.

The 1200's are a serious injector for such small goals. Furthermore a wally 255 with bypass disabled can barley max out a set of 1000's. Therefore a single wally will realistically not be able to outflow those injectors. A set of 1000's or 1050's is a good match for a wally 255. Also the 1200's will be a bit choppy on gas at idle depending on how well they are matched. On E85 they should idle close to stock. If you have good access to E85 and plan on running it 100% of the time and the deal is good, go for it. If you may have to rely on gas and have to pass emissions you *might* or might not run into issues.

Is your question concerning gasoline or E85? If gas, way too much injector. Don't buy them.

If E85, still too big for my taste, but it makes a lot more sense. Kinda like swatting a fly with a baseball bat. Can be done, but a fly swatter works better. I think 900 or 1,000cc would be a better choice, but a good tuner should be able to dial in the 1,200's.

if its that good of a deal then get it . Use the wally and sell the injectors. There are a lot of guys on here doing big builds that jump on the chance of buying used big injectors.

Yes its for e85. My car is a dd for now, so I guess i'd better pass on the 1200's. I dont want any issues with the idle.

Thanks guys.

I'd get it if you see a bigger than stock turbo in your future. If you plan to get an AMS tune, you need to call AMS and see if they will tune stock ECU with 1200 for you.
