My personal Evo is averaging the same MPG with the TRE 5spd (evo 9 1st, Evo 8 4th, etc) as it did with the TRE 6spd. Just a data point.

I'm around the same. I've squeezed out a max of 260 with all highway driving but my norm is 220-240. If I'm doing some data logging it's usually in the 150 range lol.

This is on 1200s, dual pumps, stock rail & fpr.

for some comparison between meth and e85 mileage, im running a gt30 with meth and 93 oct. im currently making 480hp and i get 300 on a full tank sometimes more depending on the how much city driving i do. thats with 1200cc injectors and a single walbro.

Gas mileage is considerably BETTER with meth injection and pumpgas.

It appears to be easier to improve gas mileage on small turbos, lower power levels and smaller injectors.

When you are in the 600+whp/500tq range with 1650cc injectors, it uses a considerable amount of fuel to feed the engine.

The fullblown twin pump kit has the level sensor reading more fuel than is actually in the tank so Saturday we have bent the float so it reads empty before the pump pickup loses suction.

We're in no race to achieve the best mileage. Our shopcar is tuned to optimum performance, fuel trims, scaling, latencies, ignition timing for cruise and high output operation.

The Evo is a high performance sports sedan. Obtaining real world mileage with normal spirited operation is the type of mileage we are interested in comparing.

If we wanted to putt around town in vacuum, we would sell the Evo for a Vespa.

Please qualify your statement next time then, when you use a general statement like you tend to do, it could mean any car running any setup, running E85. Although it is a bit easier to get better mileage on the larger turbos as they don't spool when you sneeze or when you hit a bump like the stock variants can.

We do have a customer car running 560whp on E85, double pumper, 1450cc injectors that get pretty much the same mileage. Also about 20 stock turbo/fpgreen/bbk/FP3065/PT6262 data sets running normal E85 mileage for over the last year, not just one eleventy billion "shop car" 1 month data set example.
