What gas cans are you guys using to store and refuel with E85?
Well like anything I searched. To my surprise, I cannot locate anywhere online that sells "E-85 safe" fuel containers. I need these to transport E85 from the gas station to my house. I am looking for three 5 gallons (easier to refuel).
At max these would have the same fuel in it for about 3-4 weeks at a time before putting in new fuel. I have quite a few places I can buy containers NOT SAFE for use with E85, but that doesn't help me much.
What are you guys using and where did you buy it? Links and prices would be appreciated. Advice on funnels also needed. I found a few things on Jegs.com, but I am guessing they are not E85 safe.
I know a few people using the Torco race gas cans, but I don't know where they sell these with no fuel in them?
Regards,
Ken

Yah that thread is the only one I have seen and still I'm not sure what is deemed "safe" or even
"legal" to use for fuel transport. I was thinking about the metal cans, but they don't have vented caps, so I'm not sure if that's just something needed for storage or transport as well?

Haha I have a funny story regarding the container I was using. I guess I was parked in an area that had a lot of theft, and I was sitting in my car looking over my logs and adjusting my tune. Cop pulls up and I first thought, SHEOT he must have seen me do that last pull! I later figure out that I just looked suspicious sitting there, and then he saw my container in the back, which was empty.
He was like, "Whats that and whats that for?" I told him it was for fuel, but it was empty. He told me it looked like something used for a meth lab and those sorts, and told me it wasn't even a proper container to hold fuel. I was going to tell him the container was designed to hold 100% ethanol and was pharmaceutical grade plastic and all, but was like fack it. He's not gonna listen to me anyways.

Is E85 compatible
Same price as the VP cans, but includes a nozzle and has specs for how fast it empties

I use this http://www.flo-n-go.com/products/product_duramax/
If the container is above fuel filler it acts like siphon or hand pump works but definitely slow. NATO rated for military use. (plastic has less shrapnel when hit by explosive
I called them and they said e85 is fine in them even though they are not color correct.
It can be strapped in the trunk to keep it from bouncing around during spirited runs as well. Expensive but worth it IMO bought at Pep Boys for like $59 on sale if I remember correctly
