Storing the evo over winder with E85 in the tank?

I've done some research but have not found anything conclusive for what is the best route to take for storing my evo, which has e85 in the tank.

I am looking for the best cost-effective method.

Some say drain the tank, other say don't.

Suggestions?

I am planning on storing it in a car jacket.

Please excuse my spelling in the title

If you're going to store the car for the winter. Ethanol is hygroscopic and will collect water. Drain the ethanol out. Put gasoline in. Run the car for a bit. You're good to go. There are a lot of variables when it comes to ethanol. Climate, tank, how long it sits, etc. It's easy enough to drain or run the ethanol out. Put 93 in. And store. I've seen many issues from cars "stored" with ethanol.

i drain my tank and put 5 gallons of 93 in and just start my car on that once a month.

its super easy to drain the tank, just toss some 93 in and be done!

I'm no expert but I highly doubt you would have any problems if you filled the tank with E85 and parked the car. It's not like your fuel system is going to fill up with water.

Any time I've stored my motorcycle for the winter, I'm filled the tank full (to prevent room for rusting) also, adding the recommended dosage of Stabil and letting the vehicle run for a short bit. When it comes time to start it up again, it fires right up and the gas seems to be fine.. Good Luck

My E98 has been in my car all winter (in my garage). No issues - the gas tank is sealed.
