What is the average MPG you get when running E85 including city and hwy

I'm thinking about possibly switching over to get more power out of my setup but I am hesitant due to the differences in fuel economy and how many miles i get out of one gas tank. Right now when i don't put my foot into it I'll get around 16-18 mpg in town and around 24-26 highway and average about 230-250 miles per tank before I fill up. I always refuel at 1/4 tank if I can afford it so I have enough gas to "get out of a sticky situation" whatever that may entail. Please advise and all numbers/stats welcome to give me a better idea of how different driving styles effect mileage on E85. Thanks much.

I generally see 16 mpg with a combination of ~25% highway driving and 75% city driving.

I got about exactly what u used to get on 93, now on e85 i get roughly 13-16 that's some highway and some city. It smells cool though and makes more power so who cares. I carry a 5 gallon jug in the trunk and fill it before i go on a trip somewhere where im unsure there's gonna be ethanol. Here in Indy though its like everywhere around the city so never had any problems.

I'm running a GT35R, 1200cc injectors, and a walboro single pumper. Averaging 15 mpg mostly highway.

18-20mpg. When tuning your car it is all about finding the spot that your car is happy. You need to match your afr with timing. Leaner is not always better, and more timing is not always better. You have to tweak it according to your driving style.

During cruise my car seems to like mid 16's and 38+* of timing.

Put about 900 e85 miles on my junk this weekend. Average mpg was 20 at 75mph. One leg of the trip was at 85mph and aggressive acceleration which resulted in 17mpg.

I've been averaging 14 mpg with 95% non-freeway driving since I started running E85 four years ago.

when i was living in the tricities where roads are flat and straight, i consistently got 16.5 mpg during 100% city driving on e85 with 75% ethanol. in portland where its more hilly, and the e85 has 82% ethanol, i get from 13.2 to 14.8 mpg. i never seem to get substantially better mileage on the highway. i think the best i ever got was 18 mpg there.

I just got my car together with some new parts... dual dw300's, FIC1650's, S2's, AEM ems...no joke, I was able to get 30mpg on the highway this week. 1.5 gallons took me 46 miles driving normal at 70-75mph. Forgot to take a look at my intake temps, but it was 95-100 outside. Afrs around 14.8-15.5

On my old setup with hks 272's and 1450's I would be lucky to get 150 miles on a tank with all city driving.

30 mpg on e85 seems impossible.

I couldn't believe it myself. Filled up the tank, drove exactly 46 miles, filled up again and it only took 1.5 gallons. The day before I moved my pumps lower in the hanger, so I thought the float was stuck when I noticed the needle hadn't moved.
