Evo 8 With some Mods not quick enough but

Hi Guys just bought my first evo and for some reason it feels like its lacking power...hence why i wanna go e85,its a evo 8 Jap spec with the following mods:

Apexi turbo back exhaust with high flow cat

plug and play ignition amp

apexi type r boost controller

injen air intake

bigger FMIC

coil overs

golpher alum radiater

so as you can see a few mods that should make it go quite good, it was in a small front ender when i bought it and the intercooler piping is abit restricted and the silicone hose connector has a couple of holes, they also reckon the intercooler is abit damaged could that be why its not that quick?

I have bought an intercooler and waiting for delivery so will see what happens.

im thinking of upgrading the injectors, putting a bigger fuel pump and remapping the ecu, or if i can get abit more money upgrade the ecu and run a dual map and tune it for e85, should that give me enough poke? and how much more should i be expecting?

Also would a 255 walbro fuel pump be sufficient , what injectors should i put, and whats a good mid priced/ranged ecu
Thanks for the future feedback

If you have holes in your intercooler piping/ couplers then that is certainly where I would start.

Before you start slapping on new parts get the car running right as is. You would be surprised how much of an affect a boost leak has on the engine. Have you ever tried to blow up a balloon with a hole in it? If so, how'd that work out for you

It has the injen intercooler piping/air intake...i attached pics of the damaged pipe, it was the lower RHS Intercooler pipe, looked pretty restrictive to me, the intercooler appears to be all good i filled it up with water and no leakage at all. so bought a ****ty intercooler and piping from ebay for no reason. all i needed was one or two pipes at most, never going to a "recommended' Mechanic again...
