At the moment, I am trying to figure out the easiest way to install my GM 13577429 flex fuel sensor to my fuel return line. As I understand it, the fuel return line is 1/4" and the hard lines on the sensor are 3/8". What is the easiest way to do this? I know that I could replace all of the 1/4" hose from the FPR through to the hard line with 8 fittings/adapters and 6AN line, but surely that is a bit excessive?

Is there something similar to that exists? This particular product is for nylon hoses though.

Alternatively, a couple of 3/8 female to 6AN male adapters and couple of 6AN female to 1/4 male adapters similar to would work to adapt the flex fuel sensor size to hose size, but I just cannot find 1/4".

I bought a few quick connectors to adapt to the sensor's 3/8" To connect to 1/4" return hose. I'll need to go home and look for box.

 

You have the exact same problem I had. To see how I solved it, please check my thread. I chose to completely eliminate the stock return part of the rail. I think it was a cleaner solution.

Wow, thanks guys, looks like problem solved. I'll go with 2006EvoIXer's solution first.

The next step of actually installing everything and tuning may be some time yet!
