There may be something im missing but i downloaded the program and it just will not run. Im sure others are having the same problem are are afraid to ask because theres a high risk of serious flaming. I also read over the tutorial and such but found nothing. Is there a specific program that it needs to be opened with?

Oh, your missing the compression tool.. If its a .RAR file, you need Winrar, if its ZIP, you need winzip..

 

Yes the install is sucessful but on my operating system (Windows XP) i am asked to "open with" and im confused as to where im supposed to go from there.

 

The installer is running? Or just after you download it from the web?

Also, what is the name of the file your trying to run.

 

The file is ecuflash_setup126.rar

It download onto my desktop sucessfully. Im going to try and unzip it and see how it goes.

yep download a copy of WinRAR (go to www.download.com and search for it) Install winrar, and then it will open that RAR file, from there you will get an explorer like interface, you can run the setup program (Its an EXE) file from there.

Well, you don't _have_ to have winrar. That are many, many other compression utilities that understand r-archives.
