ECUFlash and TURBO Lancer
a couple of questions.....
ive read 2 things....yes it works for the 03 Lancer 5spd and yes it works somtimes for the Lancer....so will i have any issues with this and my car?
2nd question....has anyone tuned a Turbo lancer w/ supporting mods with this program? ive read on mynes page that it can be done but i want to know if it has been done.

and a question for fuel injector gurus(

the Stage1 RRM Turbo I/C kit allows you to run 7psi with the stock injectors (240cc) in combination with 12:1 FMU and Walbro 255. if i can do that i assume then i can tune for better fuel and timing useing the stock injectors at 7psi?

I havent seen an XML definition for the lancer yet.. But I would bet that it has similar settings such as injector scaling and whatnot where you can make adjustments within the ECU for all your mods.. the advantage of a Karmann Vortex MAF equipped car is you can calculate loads over 100% (positive displacement aka Boost) regardless of the car.. Not only that, but you can use an EVO MAF sensor, and if you have the same MAF configuration tables as the Evo ECU, you can transfer the calibration data over to your ECU..
Give us some time to figure it out.. as far as I know nobody has done much more than sucessfully read and write a rom to the Lancer..

I have a few Lancer ROMs that I am decompiling as we speak. All late model Mitsubishi's that uses the Karman Vortex MAF are the same. Even if it is turbo or non-turbo. So it's no need to change MAF sensor from an EVO to your Lancer. What determines how it works for a turbo or non-turbo or the max frequency is determine in software. Read out your ECU, send me your ROM image, and I may have your calibration already decompiled.

i have not bought the cable yet....wanted to see if it would work 1st before i purchased it....but reading from the mynes page...
Have you been looking for a way to reprogram your 3rd generation 2001-2005 (only) Mitsubishi Eclipse GT, GTS, and GS, 2002-2005 Lancer OZ Rally, and ES models? Here at MYNES Performance, we can reprogram your ECU with OpenECU EcuFLASH to your modifications in-house. No need for to ship your ECU off to some other company. Even if your have turbocharged your vehicle, we can reflash your stock ECU. oh...i new to the vocab....im not newb to car stuff just explain what u mean by

I've had the cable for almost a month now and have tried both v. 1.27 and 1.28 of ECU Flash and neither of them work for my 2003 Lancer OZ. I tried using all the different definitions included, but none worked. One of the EVO 8 definitions, the 4th one, was the closest match but still not right. I saved the ROM using the incorrect definitions. Can you use that to get me the right definitions? Thanks again. I'm really looking forward to using ECUFlash to tune so I can finally use my 440 cc injectors and bump up my boost to 10 PSI.
