are the 880 precesion injectors a good injector for all bolt ons and green turbo running pump gas and possibly a race gas in the future?

They are fine as long as you set them up right ( scale and latency). I'm running the same ones with a green, cams, and other mods. The good thing is you have room to spare. At 260 load I'm only hitting like 70% of my injectors. Got room for some more mods, like meth.

Fuel trim as of a couple minutes ago. Scaling @ 790. Have not touched the latency values.

Idle
-Low -3
-Mid 0
-High 0

Cruise
-Low 0
-Mid -1
-High 0

I assume this is good from what I'm reading or am I reading things wrong?

Let me know!

That is pretty much as close as you can get to being perfect.

Alright I know fuel trim change but I'm thinking I might have to do some adjusting to my latencies.

Just logged on the way home to see if things change, which they did.

Idel

Low 3
mid -4
high 0

Cruise
low 0
mid -4
high 0

Latencies

4v 3.624
7v 1.992
9v 1.344
11v 0.984
14v 0.744
16v 0.576
18v 0.456

Should I mess with the latencies or scale the injectors lower?

imho, anything under +/- 5 is pretty much spot on.

Remember the trims are there for a reason, they compensate for conditions.

If you constantly aim for +/- 0 you will drive yourself crazy.

Nick... are those adjusted settings or are those the settings i gave you ? seems like the latency is higher then what i normally use, but if its working, run with it

No man, they are the ones that you set. The only thing I've messed with is the scaling.

when you are doing fuel trims (or any tuning for that matter) make sure you will up with the petrol that you will ALWAYS be using.

What scaling #'s are you guys using for 1000cc PTE?

I started with 660 with the following latency values:

7v=2.186
9.4=1.281
11.7=.771
14=.458
16.4=.283
18.6=.172

Before my laptop dies I achieved these #'s via EvoScan

Idle

Low=64
Mid=82
High=100

Im sure I need to increas my clobal scaling # alot. Any other suggestions?

for 1000's you should be up in the 800's, like 880 or similar

and those voltages have got to be low

Thanks bigric. I knew I was running rich as hell. The car started kind of easily and idled, but the wideband was showing mid 11's at idle.

do some searching in this thread for 1000cc injectors. I think malibu jack has posted some different scalings for them.

post up something like i have x injectors at x cc rating.... anybody with scaling for them ? ..... you are likely to get a pretty decent answer. If not, starting in the 800's with the scaling and finding what everyone else is using with the latency will get you more in the ballpark to start adjusting from

I looked through the entire thread and got the latency values that Ivan_C posted. I tried Malibu Jack's scaling for his 1000cc's but his number is much lower due to the blowthrough MAF. I will just try a MUCH higher scaling number when I get home. Thanks agian.
