quick question

i got an eflash from al for my stock ix...finally got my boost gauge and forge mbc so i got the gauge in and i noticed im hitting 15psi max...havent hooked up the mbc yet...ill do it over the weekend. but curious as to what you guys think.

I think you should get it at least to stock boost level.

does the car feel weaker after installing the gauge or did you do it all at once? You may have introduced a leak when you installed the gauge.

My boost psi was not an issue with Al's flash. It boosted to ~20psi and held there. Sounds like mad_vIII may be right and you may have introduced a leak when installing either your boost guage or mbc. Either that or the mbc may need to be tweaked. Mine held boost great and I have a completely stock IX MR with just the stock guages.

i cut one line so far for the gauge, no mbc installed yet...i find it highly unlikely a new leak was formed, zip tied all the connections on the t and the gauge...it seems to be pulling like before...

What line did you cut for the gage? If you cut the line to the DV and put a T in.. you might have introduced a restriction preventing it from firmly staying closed.
