jcsbank - i will try to redo the file order as well as increase the baud rate and see if this helps.
hmm after reading this thread:

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=214146

and looking at his maps where he has quite a bit of entries for a small 100% wot pull from 4k - redline, it seems i have some issues with the i/o stream from my ecu to evoscan. the log i posted was supposed to have at least 3-4 wot pulls from 2nd, 3rd, and 4th gears, but after further review, it seems there is only a few short entries for 100% tps pulls. =/

what baud rate and laptops are you all using?

time to debug... =(

I'm using an ancient Thinkpad Pentium II 300 MHz. If you disable logging to screen, enable log to file and enable the logging superspeed (or whatever it is called) I get up to 200 samples per sec.

I was noticing that in your log too ST, it's worse then a pocketlogger at default settings. hah.

How many things are you trying to log at once?

yes, that log was pretty pathetic. =(

i'm trying to log every available stat i can...you can never have too much info imho =)

i think i've resolved the problems now after tweaking to jcs's settings. initial results seem much better, but i'm still getting very high load cells in the 280-290 arena w/ the afrmap lookup, which to my understand, hardly ever occurs unless highly modified?

Okay guys, the long awaited updated definition files..

I updated the data.xml I placed the AFRMAP and Injector pulse data items right next to eachother so your sample is accurate... I also added speed in MPH (let me know if it works)

I also updated the EvoScan.txt file, this is used for the universal data log importer tool in data log lab...

Eventually my Evoscan log analyzer will do most of this for you, but the next release will calculate load site so you can graph it in data log lab..

See later post.. This file had a big typo in it causing an error that I didn't catch (My car is home and I'm at work)

www.dataloglab.com (do a search in this subforum for my thread about it) its by far one of the best tools I've worked with.. Basically it graphically displays relationship of data..

Ok I got it to work now, I copied and pasted the load portion of your xml file into the regular data xml and it works, but at idle it says 110% - 127%, which is odd if you guys say that boost is after 100%

Well.. did you do the calculation, or are you using that number directly? The number is just a decimal value representing the AFR of the cell its in..

and load is mislabeled.. Its the map sensor value.. I left it in there from the earlier logs.. it has no real useful function right now.
