Haha, you know some one on this board could try to claim that and get away with it being enforced

Malibu - Are you using this load formula in this program?

Technically you don't upgrade it.. you just install 2.0 with it.. I could have built the program to be fully standalone, but that would have been 17mb in size.. I figure the 250k program, and a .NET 2.0 requirement were a better alternative..

In all honesty, this program isn't THAT useful to be worth 17mb in size.. hehe.. Plus I do pay for bandwidth on my server, don't want that to multiply..

please understand that some of us really suck (if only me lol) at this computer crap, but are deeply into the tuning side of all this. With that said, is this addition that you've made specifically for the "dataloglab" program? I don't think that I plan on loading another logging program seeing as the only thing I really need now is to get load, between ecu+ and evoscan (which I haven't still got to work yet). So what Im asking is: Is this addition for evoscan so that evoscan will display load?

( I really just need to give Tom (ecu+) $20 to include logging of knocksum and load lol)

I downloaded your zip, but don't know what to do w/ the components. just find their counterparts and replace them?

It says clearly earlier in the thread, you don't need to run data log lab.. You can load this in excel or any other program.. I use data log lab because of how easy it is for me to visualize the data.. Its not required or even necessary..

This does not alter Evoscan in any way.. What it does is take your log files with the appropriate parameters, and calculates load.. Additionally it alters the date/time/second columns to be a long running seconds from start of log, otherwise you would have a hell of a time analyzing the data if you did decide to use another third party tool.

and yes, in Evoscan there is a Data.XML file, overwrite that file with the new one and you'll have all the current parameters.. Load has to be calculated AFTER the fact since its not possible to do this calculation withink Evoscan..

Good news is, most of the stuff that this tool resolves, will probably be integrated into Evoscan directly in one of his future releases..

Since the sourcecode isn't available as originally promised when I purchased my license, I had to figure out workarounds for this stuff.

Evoscan, or the analyzer, I'm assuming you meant this file.. Its zipped and has to be extracted, I think what you see is the typical internet explorer warning about opening/launching downloaded files.. Scan it with a virus scanner, but my machine is known to be clean and free of that stuff, but you can't be too careful. Also if you have Zonealarm or any of those other tools it may throw up a message.. It does not do anything harmful but if you feel uncomfortable trying it.. then don't use it or scan/verify it first.

it's the EVOscan. I try unpacking it and it won't unpack along w/ everything else. When I try and run it from the zip folder it says it's harmful and my system won't allow installation. whatever.

So scanning it might help you think? The only protection on my computer is XP crap.
