In my case, 90% of throttle hang went away when I realized my Tial 50mm BOV had the stiffest spring in it. I used Tial's chart to find the correct spring pressure (which was -7PSI), installed that spring, and voila.

Upon examining the previous spring, it was WAY too stiff to cause the BOV to open at normal Vacuum.

During troubleshooting, we checked BISS and set the TPS correctly.

After that, Scott@TTP tuned my vehicle and now 99% of throttle hang is gone. I say 99% because I haven't experienced it yet. The car engine brakes when it should, and no matter how hard you push it, engaging/disengaging the clutch causes the car to go back to normal idle.

My two cents.

so have any tunning shops actually been able to see and address this issue? i've been trolling back and forth skipping pages to see if i can see a deff fix but it seems like noone is really sure, engine braking is scary!! i had to slam on the brakes bc my car decided to accel 2500rpm's on the highway on an onramp!! i almost spun out it was pretty scary.... i ended up putting my bypass valve on full soft and turning my boost down to 20psi instead of 26psi and it seems as if it has maybe solve some of the problem but the car is still hanging revs, it seems like now it will just go up to 2krpms while idleing and then drop down slowly and then go back up very frustrating

Adjust your #1 and #3 decel fuel cut delay tables. Make the values smaller to decrease the delay. This should cure the throttle hang.

My settings....no throttle hang here.

Also making your RPM adder tables all 0's, along with the above decel fuel cut delay setting, will basically eliminate the throttle hang.

OK OK...you caught me. WE get all the credit.

This was one of the hardest problems to solve. Everyone had so many different methods. It came down to simply adjusting the delay tables. Amazing.

Yeah I remember the beginning of this thread. Also, the first fixes that were about modifying the last row of the stepper table. They only worked sometime and usually compromised cold start. Im glad we finally have a more correct fix. Even though you only do the decel tables and I do the decelt table + the RPM adders.

Ok so the issue is really wiht the decel fuel cut tables and rpm limits ? What about the decel fuel cut lower rpm limit ?

Can anyone point the way to the tables and definition for 96940011 so I can modify my rom and xml ? If any user has modded the above tables (1 2,3,4) for 96940011 and has values that work, please pm me or point up a thread and posting.

Thanks..I really hate the no engine braking on lift-off at the start of a turn-in...SCARY bad
