My flash and and locked ECU!!

Question My flash and and locked ECU!!

I have a road tune from AL! And I have to head to the dealer for some warranty work My SRS light is on and my steering wheel is leahter is coming apart!! When they try to reset the SRS will they erase my FLASH?? And since the ECU is locked how will they get in??

I doubt the reflash will have anything to do with your SRS light..

If the ECU is locked, the only think they really can't do is read the ECU using a standard tool. But their MUT Diagnostic tool will work fine as long as they don't try to update your ECU's rom with a new fix..

Resetting the SRS is the ABS module, its somewhat unrelated to the ECU, but if the MUT tool can access it through the diagnostic port, it shouldn't do anything to the ECU itself.

And no, them resetting the SRS light (SRS as in your Airbag light, not SES as in your check engine light) won't erase your flash.. In fact.. Resetting an SES/CEL light won't erase your flash either.
