Idle target AFR map?

Hey everyone, i'm new at using EcuFlash, but I have a pretty good understanding of ford/gm tuning.

I'm wondering if there is a different table the ecu uses for AFR at idle (0 tps) I found that changing the high octane map around idle rpm had no effect unless the tps was slightly moved.

I know that some ecm stratagies use a completely different table for stablized idle afr and timing. Any ideas?

I wouldnt mess with it unless you have someone that knows what's going on beside you......get with a tuner to set you up with the basic peremeters and show you how to work things...safer for you.

I have a pretty good understanding of how all this stuff works.

I started using ecuflash yesterday. I didn't like all the flow values in g/sec so I edited the multipliers for flow in the definition file for KG/HR and re-named the columns so it would be more familiar to me.

I've not found one yet.

Presumably you're running it open loop by disconnecting the lambda sensor when you test?

I tried answering this last night but the site seemed uncooperative.

There actually are some closed loop AFR tweaks, (A target table and some adjustment parameters) But at the moment their not documented because their not "Found yet" As the ECU's inner workings are documented better, all the available parameters will be available for adjustment.

What I do know is they exists, what I don't know is where they are yet.

Close, I used the tps and load for open loop tables.
