As was posted above, check for HD shock protection if you have a thinkpad.

Otherwise, simply close down evoscan and restart it.

Sometimes that happens to me if I shut the car off with evoscan open and then turn the car back on.

I'm getting these timeouts before I can get all the way through a gear while logging!

I got them sometimes with 0.97, but with 99 it's happaning every time I try to log a run.

I'm using a Dell c460, using the USB 1.3 mitsulogger, and a serial for AEM wideband

I'm having a hard time finding any type of HD protection on this thing, any ideas?

having the same problem with 0.99, keep timing out with my Vaio VGN.
