EvoScan FTDI read timeout
As was posted above, check for HD shock protection if you have a thinkpad.
Otherwise, simply close down evoscan and restart it.
Sometimes that happens to me if I shut the car off with evoscan open and then turn the car back on.

I'm getting these timeouts before I can get all the way through a gear while logging!
I got them sometimes with 0.97, but with 99 it's happaning every time I try to log a run.
I'm using a Dell c460, using the USB 1.3 mitsulogger, and a serial for AEM wideband
I'm having a hard time finding any type of HD protection on this thing, any ideas?

I suffered from FTDI timeouts for a while. Laptop would start logging but almost every time I attempted a run it would timeout. I eventually realised it was the hard disk protection on my IBM thinkpad! Turn the protection off and it never misses a beat now. Just a thought...
