Good results from EcuFlash on TBE Evo IX
The only mods I have done to the car are a Extreme turbo systems 3.5" TBE. First run on the dyno netted 284hp and 262 TQ. I had to richen up the A/F in the low end and lean it out above 7000 RPM, and added a little timing. I left the dyno with 294hp and 267 TQ.
I was able to gain a decent amount of power during spool and at the top end by playing with the MIVEC. I netted ~11hp gain at 7000 RPM by messing with the Mivec, and a few ft-lb of torque below 3500 RPM.
I am hoping to put an AEM Tru-boost on the car soon and get it back on the dyno, I imagine that 315hp could be possible on pump gas.
I definately think that the EcuFlash, Mitsulogger, Datalog Lab combo is extremely good, especially considering it is almost free
. I have previously used the AEM and HKS V-Pro, and must say that based on the ability of this combo I have no intentions to go standalone in the near future.
