CBRD Tune ECUFlash

Well here's the Dyno sheet.

MODS: K&N Filter, Test Pipe with O2 simulator and UR Catback, ECUFlash

Initial Pull with MODS 243Hp 264Tq
Final Power 311Hp 291Tq
Initial AFR's 9.5
Final AFR's 11.8
Boost reached 23.4 psi
No changes to MIVEC timing

Issues: CEL in second gear WOT goes into limp mode I think. It will idle at 2000 rpm and very little to no boost. Believe its the boost spike around 3400-3500.

Has anyone else had this issue? Any help would be appreciated!!

Chad is doing his best to resolve the issue.

Depending on CEL # you are getting, could either be overboost or airflow limiter table. Most likely overboost because it's spooling much faster.

Boost desired engine load tables need to be adjusted. I'm sure Chad will make sure everything is working fine. If not I'll give him grief over AIM.

btw, your base numbers you posted and base numbers on the dyno sheet don't match.

always open to try something different.

I really think the OP's problem lies in the boost tables though.

Sound like that dyno reads close to the dyno4mance heart breaker... Good numbers, good work CBRD.

Yes, everyone that tunes 10's has had to "deal" with the trustful airflow checks tables that lead to the limp mode. They just need to figure out the load you are running AFTER the tune and setup the tables accordingly.

yeah its a pain with a generic logger....

we are going to start doing more cars with cobbs software.. (which we tune the subies with... and are using on the GTRs)..

I think the AVG 1 is my initial pull.

I know Chad will fix my issue and he did say it will give me a check engine light because of the overboost.

But you should NOT have a CEL after the load tables are adjusted, correct?

CBRD - you said you were able to adjust the MIVEC settings, did you change the boost tables as well? You could probably push a few more PSI based on what others have done so far....

the CEL i believe i airflow limiter related im working on it now... testing on my car tonight.. (using cobb software)....

i tune each car based on mods.... this car has stock fmic etc.... so im not being overly aggressive
